Flag Raising Ceremony -July 19, 2021 Featured

Chief, Regional Personnel and Records Management Division, PCOL FROILAN B NAVARROZA, graced the traditional Monday Flag Raising Ceremony as the Resource Speaker on July 19, 2021 held at the PRO5 Grandstand, Camp BGen Simeon A Ola, Legazpi.

In the same activity, Police Regional Office 5 Regional Director, PBGEN JONNEL C ESTOMO also gave awards and recognition to personnel of this unit for their extraordinary efforts in making the mandates of the PNP organization--to serve and protect, become reality.

The Medalya ng Kagalingan was given to PMAJ HARRIS H CASTILLO, PSSG KRISTINE B LERADO, and PAT NELBERT M ARTEZUELA, for their commitment to their sworn duties and contribution in the organization’s objectives to end local communist armed conflict in the region.

The same award was also presented to PCPT EMIL S YEBRA, PSSG ELMER JOSEPH S BRIONES, PSSG KIVEN R BATALLA, and PCPL VICENTE C SARCIA II for the remarkable act they have demonstrated during the implementation a buy-bust operation in Naga City that resulted to the apprehension of the suspect and the confiscation of 1Million worth illegal drugs known as “shabu” and unlicensed firearm.

On the other hand, PCMS VICENTE J GONZAGA was recognized for his compassion and kind gesture for donating grocery items, hygiene kits and wheelchair to a former porter at Pilar Port who continue to make a living despite his medical condition. Thus, Medal ng Kaugnayang Pampulisya was awarded to him.

PSSG GREGORIO B AJERO and PAT JANNEL S SALES were also acknowledged for extending help and exhibiting good deeds to people who are much in need. Their action is truly a manifestation of a reliant, responsible and humane public servants.

A certificate of appreciation was also presented to PCOL Navarroza for his words of wisdom and encouragement as the resource speaker during the said endeavor.

In closing, PBGEN ESTOMO gave his guidance and reminders to the men and women of PRO5 on its aim to deliver an extraordinary police service that is seen, appreciated and felt by the community.
