Traditional Monday Flag Raising Ceremony and Awarding of PNP Personnel Featured

PBGEN JONNEL C ESTOMO, Regional Director lead the men and women of Police Regional Office 5 on its Traditional Monday Flag Raising Ceremony today, June 5, 2021 held inside Camp Ola, Legazpi City.

The activity was highlighted with the awarding of deserving PNP personnel for their extraordinary efforts that resulted to the neutralization and arrest of various lawless elements as well as in extending a helping and to the community.

The Medalya ng Kagalingan was given to PMAJ DIVINO JOHN B PELEA and PCPL ALLAN P BERNAL in recognition of their meritorious accomplishment during the conduct of a buy-bust operation that yielded in the neutralization of a person engaged in illegal drug activity and the confiscation of 2.312 methamphetamine chloride with street value P15,721.

The same award was accorded to PLT JONATHANM HAPA, PSSG MARES C DERILO and PCPL SYBEL R BLANQUEZA for the diligence they showed during the conduct of Manhunt Charlie on June 14, 2021 at Brgy Marinig, Cabuyao, Laguna that resulted in the arrest of the rank 2 and 3 municipal most wanted person of Juban MPS for 5 counts of rape in relation to the violation of RA 7610.

Same medalya was also bestowed to PLT DENNIS A ALTEZ and PSSG ALCID C BAQUIRAN for their bravery in performing their duties during the implementation of search warrant that resulted in the neutralization of a high-ranking member of the New People’s Army.

On the other hand, Medalya ng Papuri was awarded to PMSG GERRY A VILLAFUERTE; PCPL ARNEL E LAWIG; PAT ERICKSON T LAVARRO for their nobility in going above and beyond the people’s expectations by extending most needed help to the community.

Their laudable act demonstrated is worthy of emulation by their peers in the PNP service and that has brought positive impression to the image of Police Regional Office 5 and the PNP organization as a whole.
