A.  ENTICE AND RECRUIT THE MOST QUALIFIED APPLICANTS

 

1.  Recruitment Program

 

For the 1st Semester CY 2011 this PRO was allocated an Attrition Quota of 485 Police Officers One (POs1) for appointment into the PNP service quota for POs1. After thorough processing, only 327 qualified for appointment and took their oath on June 15, 2011.

 

For the 2nd Semester CY 2011 this PRO was allocated an Attrition Quota of 261 and a Regular Quota of 222 with a total of 483 Police Officers One (POs1) for appointment into the PNP service quota for POs1. However, only 428 took their oath on November 4, 2011. Out of this, one (1) died due to illness and four (4) others were resigned.

 

2.  Lateral Entry Program

                            

Twenty-one (21) Non-Commissioned Officers (PNCOs) of various ranks were promoted to Police Inspector through Lateral Entry in CY 2011 and took their oath on November 4, 2011.

During the 1st Semester CY 2011, 3rd Level Promotion, PRO5 has four (4) Police Superintendents promoted to the next higher rank of Senior Superintendent. For 2nd Semester, three (3) Police Superintendents were recommended for the promotion to the next higher rank of Police Senior Superintendent. 

 

For the 2nd Level Promotion, PRO5 has a total of 1,676 PNP personnel were promoted to the next higher rank.

d. Health Care Services

 

From January 1 to December 31, 2011, Health Service 5 provided various health services to PNP Uniformed and Non-Uniformed personnel to include their direct dependents and other civilians. Likewise this office conducted the following: Eight (8) Medical and Dental mission with 377 patients benefited; nine (9) MEDOP with 2,349 patients benefited; four (4) Civic Action with 230 patients benefited; and Gender and Development Activity with 272 patients benefited.

A total of fifty (50) senior citizens benefited from said activity.

PINSP EDUARDO ARANAS ARAGO DMD together with PINSP REINA BANZUELA GREFALDEO DMD participates in the Medical and Dental mission sponsored by Bombo Radyo Legaspi held at Albay Astrodome, Washington Drive, Legaspi City on July 10, 2011, with sixty (60) patients were treated.

PSUPT PERFECTO VIRGENES YU DMD, Acting Chief Dental Dispensary, participate on the CIVAC sponsored by SEDP with a slogan “SIMBAG SA SALUD” at Our Lady of Salvation, Iriga City on June 24, 2011 with forty (40) patients were treated.

2.  Personnel Enhancement Program

 

This PRO was granted a total of thirty (31) College PNP – CHED Financial Assistance Program Scholars and one (1) High School Kaagapay sa Pangarap Foundation starting SY 2006 – 2007. Out of the thirty-one (31) scholars of PNP – CHED college scholarship, five (5) were terminated as per Resolution No. 2007-2008-004, five (5) stopped availing the scholarship due to budgetary constraint, and nineteen (19) already graduated.
